I guess you haven't noticed that walmart is also quietly shifting over to using plain white trailers? One carrier that I contract with has a few Sam's club dedicated contracts. Those contracts require the carrier to supply their own trailers to service the account.

that's actually a very good idea (plain white wrapper), giving the thieves no idea what's inside.

as for supplying their own trailers, many just lease out, like my company did for the longest time, then they bought all new "plain white wrappers"...

Yes, the company I'm contracted with is using lease trailers to service the dedicated accounts.

it is easier to lease the trailers, until say the next contract renewal with the customer. this way, should the customer decline a new contract, simply return the lease trailers.

we got the "go ahead" for a 6 year contract, just last year i believe, so that's when it made sense to buy new trailers, then if we lose the account afterwards, the company can sell them off and recoup "some" money.

Swift was feeling jealous so they decided to get a piece of the action!!!
    “That’s nothing,WATCH THIS!!”
Long Island Parkway overpasses take out second tractor trailer of week
It takes some serious effort for someone to hit a low-clearance bridge hard enough to knock a can over on its side, trailer included. But once again, when it comes to comedy relief, Swift never fails to disappoint! LOL

Doesn't matter. The entrances to the parkway all say NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES!!! I wonder why.

Bwahahaha! (Sorry, have to have a laugh.) Some drivers don't understand what part of the Parkway is good for trucks. Quick quiz: after what exit are trucks allowed on the NJ Parkway? Prizes galore! (Ok, not really! Just an NJ attaboy.)
