If I were Love’s I’d try and serve a different area in MT that would benefit from a new truckstop instead of wanting to build one just for the sake of competeing with the two up the road.
Ramsay is just a bedroom community for Butte so when Love’s is talking about creating jobs it will be people from Butte driving out to work there and not the people who live in Ramsay.
Like others, I don’t blame them for not wanting one. I’m not 100% sure if Ramsay is an incorporated town or not. The articles I’ve read mentioned that residents are dealing with Silver Bow county which leads me to believe that they may not have a town board or anything of that nature. If they aren’t incorporated then I imagine the tax revenue generated would just go to the county coffers. -
Butt, Montana has pretty views.
Long FLD Thanks this. -
I never knew how filthy some areas of this county were till I started traveling as an adult. Went to Memphis Tennessee a couple of years back with my wife. Took a bus tour of the city. The driver joked about how the residents there bagged their trash before throwing it into the ditch. Didn't matter anyway since the dumb #### running th mower just ran over it.
