    By now he would've had his book written, I would've edited it, and we'd both be raking in the money as sales started to climb while @x1Heavy did his national book tour, complete with readings of trucker stories at bookstores and on radio and TV all across this great land...

    But instead, he's wasting time on Truckers Report.

    My GPS says I have a lifetime average speed of something over 140 mph... so there’s that.

    Got to looking at my Garmin a few days ago. I never reset the data. It showed a maximum speed of 182 MPH. And no. I don't use it on weekends in my Pro Stock class drag racing machine. I only use it in my fleet spec'd company truck

    Yessir, what would start out as a 10 volume set you'd pare down to a paperback. You could roar across this country in his 140 mph Cabover....

    Youse guys are exaggerating; the Cabover never got over 110, even downhill.
    Book tour?
    Skip that and go right to the full length feature film.
    These kids today that ride a couch in their mother's basement all day
    and blink when they get out into the sun would eat that up.
    Adventure; they don't know the meaning of the word.

    I took that once to get over to Lovell. Beautiful drive on a beautiful summer day. But I was empty. I took the long way back loaded.

    The russian one is called GLONASS most phone new GSM phone gets A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS.GLONASS to be better in arctic area and assist GPS with problem with reliable location information in challenging environments, such as urban canyons or environments where foliage, bridges, etc., often block large portions of the sky.

    Development of GLONASS began in the Soviet Union in 1976. Beginning on 12 October 1982, numerous rocket launches added satellites to the system until the constellation was completed in 1995. After a decline in capacity during the late 1990s, in 2001, under Vladimir Putin's presidency, the restoration of the system was made a top government priority and funding was substantially increased. GLONASS is the most expensive program of the Russian Federal Space Agency, consuming a third of its budget in 2010.

    By 2010, GLONASS had achieved 100% coverage of Russia's territory and in October 2011, the full orbital constellation of 24 satellites was restored, enabling full global coverage. The GLONASS satellites' designs have undergone several upgrades, with the latest version being GLONASS-K2, scheduled to enter service in early 2018.

    Well I am in Iowa most of it is flat. The NW corner of the state and the E to NE side of the state has some pretty good hills. I did however have to make it up a hill like that in pictures on page 2 but it was gravel. It was a new house that went up on the top of a huge hill with narrow paved road along the river down below. The road is kinda scary because the river is practically road level and no barricades. Every time you go around a corner you hope there is no a car being stupid.
    Get to the base of the hill lady tells me I can go up the hill but none of the commercial vehicles do or drive around 5 miles and come in from the back. I did not have much that would get damaged if it slid off the truck so I just put it in double reduction and went up. I think low or first might have got the job done but I was not to heavy.
    Course I am drywall crane truck and it helps having 4.something gearing .
    They had to regrade the whole face of the hill to stop a landslid, and septic stuff. Does not look fun trying to get snow or ice removed. They still had to have a flood guy approve they don't need flood insurance.
