Take your off duty and stay home in your math.. drive as normal and you will doo good. $80-90 is average for stay on road. Don't forget your taxes break down

That is nowhere near the average. Where did you get those numbers from? Better question, how long have you been driving?

    DeepSouthRollin Thanks this.

A new driver asks about fair pay and you throw a stupid number at him that you don’t make yourself.
    .
Please tell us about who you work for or what you haul and what kind of time at home you have so that we may all learn from you...,

WongK, DeepSouthRollin and bryan21384 Thank this.

I was just thinking the same thing. When I get back to how are yard, I'm going to politely ask the owner to start paying me $325 a day. I'm going to see how that goes LOL

It's up to you, take low pay job or get it right. If you work for some one it's Your responsibility to negotiate rates. Go low stay low. No one should be treated as dirt and work chip. Yes imI on 1099 and move when I want
You get off duty take your time off have fun. If you laden must be paid. Many drivers mess thot point
New driver should be comfortable where his at and go for best

    DeepSouthRollin Thanks this.

How much do you make after you withhold the legal amount of withholding taxes; social security, federal, state, healthcare, retirement plan, etc, etc.? You're responsible for all that and you're supposed to file taxes every quarter. Are you doing all that?

jammer910Z, DeepSouthRollin and Tb0n3 Thank this.
