From Company driver to L/P

Hi all just a quick update

Hubby has been home since Thursday evening. He couldn't get a trailer to go back to MI. So he will go up Monday either with one or bobtail. He has to get everything removed from numbers and name to camera, gps and eld.

Yesterday we went to Clark Power in Kingsport to get the needed paperwork for him to run on paper logs because his engine is exempt. It's a 98 so that will help alot. Been a few years since he ran paper but that's not a issue. We're very excited for this to finish up asap.
Happy Mother's Day to those women reading. Reminder to you men not to forget. More later.

 

I am the lucky one.
I reasoned out with hubby to stay home till new tags come in. Made more sense than getting stuck in MI ideling. So he is removing decals. When tags come in he will go up to get electronics out. So for now he is home making me very happy and his brother very unhappy which makes me happier yet. No I am not a vindictive person but his brother has been lazing around here for 4 years now drinking and breaking stuff.

Anyway, we will have someone put on new company numbers as hubby wants it done right.

 

Well, money was sent via wire last Tues. They are now saying the processed it today and it will be 14 more days till they get the title. That's total BS. There now trying to get hubby back up there. But I said no. It would cost us more for him to go than to stay home. There is also the legality of running with title in transit. We have to wait or he will go and then come back. But loads with them are scarce. He doesn't even have a trailer as they couldn't find him one.

Speculation is that title is messed up some how in a loan.

 

No longer speculation it is tied up in a loan they did. So now hubby is running as a leased OO with them till either he gets pissed off or title comes threw. This would be a great time to place bets lol. He is now on way to get his load to go back up north. I knew it wasn't going to be a easy break.
