FWIW, if you can't post the pay here, then it's probably not enough.
Switch Back Thanks this. -
If you can’t pick up the phone and call you’re probably not interested anyway!

Just curious... why is tanker needed for a straight truck?

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has rolled out a new regulation meant to keep the roads safe from commercial drivers carrying large amounts of liquid or gaseous freight without the proper training. In order to do this, the FMCSA changed the definition of a “tanker,” which, in turn, has changed the requirements for which drivers are required to hold a “tanker endorsement” on their CDL. This change means that even those who are driving dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and box trucks will be required to hold the endorsement if they meet the requirements below. If the following conditions occur, you are responsible for obtaining a tanker endorsement on your CDL:
- Your cargo includes liquid or gaseous individual containers larger than 119 gallon capacity.
- The containers are loaded, and not empty.
- The total combined volume in those containers exceeds 1,000 gallons.
-
Or you dont actually want to interest anyone in calling.
-
I meet and or exceed all of the criteria here.
My problem is I just got burnt by FedEx for an" hours violation" that could have been avoided if they had held up their end of the deal.
If you have any pull with them I'd drive for you.
Have Passport will travel.

I may give you a call. I don't have the endorsements, but if how easily I passed all my other tests is any indicator, they shouldn't be too hard to get. The only hurdle I see if I have a recent misdemeanor, and I don't know if it's one of those ones where Canada won't let you in, because I know they're weird about some of those.
