Eaton 18 speed slave valve leaking air from vent

I don't know how much time it takes to replace, I'm was just using a couple hours that a shop may charge you, as an example.

I personally research if I can do the job properly myself before I attempt it.

You can also call a transmission shop and ask them what it entails.

Sometimes they will give you some pointers.

I've had friends of mine replace splitter valves on 10 speed transmissions and it was just R&R.

It shouldn't be much different for a 13 or 18 speed.

What kind of truck is it in. I could look up for you if a KW, Pete, Freightliner or Western star.

 

There should be a metal plate riveted to the transmission case with the serial number on the passenger side.

Also look at your driver's side door jamb manufacturer sticker, it should have all your truck's engine and powertrain info printed on it.

 

If you have a smartphone, it should open up automatically.

I just clicked on it and it opened up just fine.

 

Last six of VIN and will give you trans model if original.
