I agree with sTexan. You’ve got a pretty new unit. With just under half a tank. That should last you until 2am.
If you’re still worried then go on personal conveyance (this mode protects your 34 from being interrupted) and pull into the fuel island and get fuel without logging anything. Then go park again and finish the rest of your break. So you didn’t log that one particular fuel function. Big deal. If the company beefs about one lousy fueling not being logged, just let em know the deal.
Forgot to get reefer fuel.

except pay cash if you use your fuel card they have a time stamp on it so that would cancel out your reset .... if you are sitting that long anyways you probably don't need a reset anyways can go on the recap hours

Some of those have the pick up located up around the 1/8 mark so you may run out before it is completely empty plus if it is a older model you may have some sludge down that way that will clog things up a bit.x1Heavy Thanks this.

if you guess wrong and you do run out ... put 20.00 in it with your own money the call your company and say it quit working ..... reefer companies really frown on you running out of fuel and they are hard to get running after you run out its easier to call breakdown and tell them they better get somebody out here and fix there junk trailer before this meat starts rotting spend the 20.00 and let someone else worry about it ... never tell them you ran out of fuel

Granted I dont know anything about reefer, but how is this not the most simple solution?x1Heavy, Sandywig54 and Veteran driver Thank this. -
If gunk settles to the bottom of the tank it will get picked up regardless of fuel level. It picks up fuel from the bottom of the pickup tube...
Not sure why people seem to think it syphons it off the top of whatever the fuel level is.
If it runs out it isn't that big a deal. Prime it with the hand plunger and it will fire up again. I would risk doing that rather than spend own money (might have to anyway) or screw up reset. If you run out it's a good time to check the thimble fuel filter as well. Easy to do. If you have algae or other crap in tank it will collect there. Just clean and put back in. A bottle of water 1/3 full drop it in shake it really good and it's good to go.x1Heavy Thanks this. -

I know right! (Smacks forehead).x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I don’t get what the problem is. Go fill up the tank and don’t log it. Nobody’s going to know.

OMG op, just get a five gallon can and get some fuel. This is not the end of the world, and next time don't forget to fill it, to be exact make it a habit to fill it every time you fuel the truck.
