The best solution is to panic the moment that needle shows a hair below 1/2

You should not alter the setting.

Meat has to be maintained at particular temps to prevent bacterial contamination.

    So let me get this...

You're willing to expose consumers to food poisoning to keep you from getting a log violation point?

    Wow.

Perhaps and I agree in most cases, but if someone in your own company tells you to run it continuous then I'd argue, no you can't run it cycle.

IF [IF] there is some sort of concern about the meat's transit temps at the receiver, and a log is pulled and truck messaging is reviewed, then the driver is subject to disciplinary action for not following management directives.

It's their fuel, it's their engine hours and maintenance, their potential cargo claim. If they're okay with continuous, then I will be too

Never ran Fresh Meat loads on continuous. Always on cycle sentry. 1/2 tank will run for several days on cycle.

I have never had a meat load on that trailer longer than it takes to run dry on continuous. Fort Collins to Fort Worth overnight comes to mind...

I recall reaching Sacremento on Day three from Garden City KS solo at 9 am sharp monday. CB from the distribution center is wailing whar is my meat load?

All those trucks in the docks end to end, all those waiting surrounding the gate and entire facility for blocks and I am it. The meat load. No check in with gaurd, no paper looking just a simple dock number and some profanity in hurry up given while I was still 3 blocks and closing.

Step by step instructions pull over to the fuel pump swipe your card get the fuel do not log it. When safety calls and ask you why you didn't log it explain to them exactly what you did. Have them send you the violation sign it send it back to him they'll put it in your file and never talk about it again. Unless you work for a company that doesn't really value you.
