And in order to solve said problem, one needs to know who to go to in order to get it rectified. Blaming Swift in this case is a red herring. The articles I'm reading show there is an issue with how DMV was interpreting the residency requirements for the state. And the FBI would be called in to investigate security issues dealing with the issuance of licenses.

I agree - arguing with me does not solve the problem.
Yes, I have found info regarding the residency requirements possibly being suspect. As students, we were given assurances that all legal requirements, at that time, were indeed being met, even though I found the whole idea a little odd myself.
Please, everyone, stop telling me to learn to read. It should be obvious by now that I know how to read and write, just look at everything I've written and referenced so far. It was only that the residency requirement issue was a new wrinkle in the case that I'd just uncovered that kept me from adequately addressing it.
I already said I'm a working single father - I'm a busy man - if you can be helpful in your replies, please do so. This is not the time or place to cut me down. I'm just trying hard to get my license back and help others like me, maybe, from losing theirs in the first place.
"Biker", you reference reading "articles" (in the plural) regarding the residency issue. Yet, I've only posted one (1) link regarding the residency issue, but ALL the other links I've posted discuss only third-party testing and the TDoS office in the Swift terminal.
If you've uncovered anything ELSE out there that I've not yet linked, please post the link(s) for all to read. -
tony282003 I really feel for you and your situation, I have been searching using every search engine I have trying to find more information for you and have failed so far.
In the interim, I would suggest you contact the safety officer of the Swift Syracuse terminal to see if he can do anything for you. Unless you don't drive for them anymore in which case forget what I just said.Lilbit and tony282003 Thank this. -
Thanks, "cornbinder", but you are correct in that I no longer work for Swift - in fact I spent five weeks at home after orientation awaiting a trainer that never arrived - and then I found other employment driving locally, home every night, but I appreciate your concern!

One of my husband's former students with Swift from Lathrop, CA had to go down and retake her test too. This was last spring or summer. She went through a third party write-off also. -
Help me please, I'm ignorant. Why was ATF there also? And U.S. Marshall's? And Secret Service? -
I received the same letter from NY state about suspended cdl from Tennesse. dated Dec. 15, 2008. Went to Millington July 05. I completed my written test and now have to take the Road test. I too cannot work until I pass the road test. This is very worng. I spoke with Swift and they say they did nothing wrong that it is the 3rd party testers in TN. Some sort of legal action should be taken and I would lend support to any and all should it be persued as a group. I also know of two other individuals in New York state that have received the same letters of cdl suspension over this. Thanks wjf1957
