Red has 11hp more. Just sayin’

In all honesty I’ve had the same question. I’m going to take a couple of road trips to Fontana and look at them and sit in them.

It all depends on what kind of freight your going to be hauling with it.how much weight, what region of the country you will be running.Volvo are nice trucks.comfortable ride and very good on fuel mileage.but hard to get parts and repair shops that can work on them.on the other hand kenworth and peterbilt well built trucks.they hold good resale value.IMO truck brand really doesn’t matter much its all about what kind of powertrain its equipped with.engine, tranny, differential ratio etc..again all tht will depends on what plan on doing with the truck. if your not plan on going into California i would look for pre emissions truck.new trucks with dpf/def is nothing but headaches.tht’s my .2cents.good luck with whtever you decide!!!

One thing for sure. Volvo’s service network sucks. At least in Saskatchewan it does.

I have a 2016 Volvo 670 with an extended warranty. A couple of weeks ago on Saturday the air compressor clutch went out about a mile from my house.

I received a red alert message from Volvo ASIST via email asking me to contact them regarding the alert. They had it towed to nearest dealer on Sunday. On Monday the service manager emailed me informing of the problem. They put a new compressor on that same day and my truck was ready to roll the next morning.

My experience with Volvo has been a positive one.
