Trucking companies that you wished were still in business

And there's still a few ex mainliner drivers floating around .

 

I remember Shanno, they had some nice looking trucks.

 

Yeah buddy ...the days of high speed chicken and the Sunday night hunts point 500 on 80 across Penn ...mainliner and montfort were the pack leaders lol.
I only know 1 former mainliner driver still alive .

 

I don't remember what happened with Montfort, did Navajo acquire them?

 

I think jbs packing swallowed up montfort but not positive , the way packers have changed hands in the last 20 years hard to keep track anymore .

 

Yes I did ...best company out there. After they closed up I got out of trucking

 

I miss the good old days Any one remember all american freight out of suefalls SD.my dad worked for them in Kansas City.
