Werner hit with $90 million dollar verdict

Im to lazy to look up the court case but id almost guaranty he was named as codefendent in the civil suit. The driver always is these situations. That is also why guys claiming an llc will protect their personal assets don't have a clue.

 

I can remember reading in one of the links provided earlier here that the driver of the AUTOMOBILE was being sued by the other party traveling in the same automobile. Some friend, huh?

But it's standard procedure to file a suit against the driver of a CMV following a death or serious injury or damages crash. It usually gets handed over to the carrier's attorneys and they typically "make it go away" somehow unless there is obvious and serious intent or malice on the part of the driver.

 

I forget who owned the vehicle now...weren't the mother and children passengers in their own vehicle driven by a third party? Might as well name the trainer also. And IF the roads were icy, might as well name the DOT for not salting the road.

 

You're the one saying that they did not Sue the driver so you prove that they did not. The onus is on you

I don't recall saying the driver wasn't sued. You're going to have to show me that.

Unless I misread that earlier post the driver of the vehicle she was a passenger got sued .. if that’s the case it may of help jury to decide to punish Werner since she was a total innocent in the matter.. Still not right in my opinion though

 

Next we'll get sued for not adhering to the Smith System!

I'm still amazed this thread has brought in two separate n00b trolls to slam us for defending Werner (in this instance,) completely oblivious to the usual mega blasting that goes on here.

These victims seem to have a PR department working for them.
