what it takes to open truck driving school

I never called you garbage, I said that if your school employs instructors that are so bad at what they do that a driver with 7 weeks of experience is teaching them ANYTHING at all to do with driving a tractor trailer, then that school is a garbage school.

That has nothing to do with how I want the world to work, that is just simple fact. If that doesn't make sense to you then I cant help you.

 

I have owned 3 businesses in fact, sold the first two and I am on my 3rd if you must know. All of my businesses have been successful because I didnt listen to fools on the internet and I didnt just wing it.

Careful planning, research, investment capital and hard work is what leads to success in business.

 

Just out of curiosity, can you give all of us an example of what you taught your instructor? Please dont say "How to shift". That is too vague. Exactly what did you teach them about shifting that they didnt know?

The original post was a person asking about opening a school and what it took. A person potentially willing to put hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line and you are jumping in with completely false information and bragging about how you were teaching your instructor shifting techniques.

I'd say its not totally inappropriate to ask for some clarification as to what you actually know and dont know before someone takes business advice from you.

Look even after you get your CDL class A you'll need to work in a ####ty place for at least 2 years before you can get a better paying job. Or you can always work at a Freight Company. With no experience you might help out with being a yard dog (Hostler). Get your backing skills and if the company runs doubles you can break down and put together the sets.
