That’s why I prefer linehaul. No customers to deal with ever.
14 hours waiting time would net any of our company drivers $300
Hope you earned at least that for your time

You should have left and gone up to the new Flying J or Loves just north of there. At least parked at the little fuel stop at the Gas City exit.

Company wouldn't let me and this was 4 years ago. Not sure if that TS was there then.

After lurking this shipping & receiving forum a few months I definitely sounds like linehaul is better. That's where I got my six weeks training. We just dropped the trailer, turned in the paperwork, got the new load papers and off we went. We would sometimes wait a few hours, but not 14.
From what I've heard sometimes the solo drivers would have to wait, teams would always be given priority.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I’ve never delivered to Coke in Columbus, but I picked up there 3 times and they were always very quick and professional. One time I was an hour late and that was the quickest they ever got me loaded, like 30 minutes and I was gone. Never waited more than 90 minutes. St. Charles, MO is another good one.
The Coca-Cola warehouse in Detroit is the one that ####ing blows. After my last time there, I told the company I was with that if they ever dispatched me there again to consider it my last trip.NavigatorWife and bryan21384 Thank this. -
You're right about Target. I went to the one in Fridley, MN. They make you sit in the lounge there, but I was out in an hour.
