I would recommend a product called Nylog.....the fittings you have going on that unit will be flared. Nylog will help prevent vibration from loosening those fittings and your refrigerant from leaking out.

They're flexible copper lines. I've had it running for over a year now and no issues from it. My girlfriend stitched together a canvas cover that we use while we're moving to keep big stuff out.

If I were to do it again, I would put it up high on the back wall. Mounted to the plywood on the window, it can get too cold sitting at the workstation, and I need a blanket when it's in the bed position.

Yeah my bed is actually on the top. The upper bunk doesn't fold away so trying to see if I can place it higher so it doesn't blow directly on me

That is a good thought to place it in the fron instead of the rear wall! Hummmm. Not more thinking to do lol. Just have to think about the drain......
