I just don't get why they stick tempered glass in construction machine cabs. I don't think its durable enough. We started putting lexan windows in our skid steers just because they'd blow out all the time. Either operators slam them too hard or they take a hit while on the job.

Our skid steer has curved glass...…..the only time that we (I) broke it is when I was removing an auger from a post hole digger. I lifted up the driver and the auger tipped toward the skid steer. Since then I have banned myself from using the skid steer (I might have an ulterior motive, and the boys are better with it than me).MartinFromBC, Tug Toy, SAR and 5 others Thank this. -

stupid question
why are these loads blocked up so high? (16", 14")
I'm not seeing anything that they are hitting on, or am I just not seeing?
Always wanting to learn.
thanks
