WOW I rode a Harley for a few years but I never got into Motocross. @Trashtrucker1707 you're braver than me. It just looks too painful on the knees.
Well I'm off the rest of the week having a new tranny put in the truck. I guess it's staycation of sorts. Should be back to work on Monday/Tuesday at the latest.motocross25 and blade Thank this. -
I still have the Harley but I don’t even ride it far without my backrest can’t imagine standing for hours going through jumps if you don’t mind me asking what type of tranny you got and are you rebuilding or just new gasketsmotocross25 and NightWind Thank this.

It's a 13 speed manual I'm more than likely going to put a reman in simply because of time v.s. money v.s. warranty. I NEVER rebuild because the dealer installing gives me a 2 yr parts AND labor unlimited mileage warranty.motocross25 and blade Thank this.

Enjoy your time off! Nothing too eventful of a week here. Briefly touched base with @blade at the beginning of the week and thought we might be able to run together as I was going after one of his company’s loads, but it didn’t work out. I did have a bit of a debacle in Milwaukee. I picked up ASR which I think stands for Automated Shredded Residue. It’s pretty much what the shredder at a scrapyard kicks back out as no good and it’s trash basically. I went to dump it in Davenport and it came out of the collar SO shakey, and I wasn’t even past the first stage of the hoist and the trailer was leaning over my drives. Long story short a few times with the consignee getting in there with a grapple found a bunch of wet product in the right side of the nose. Finally got it to slide without much incident. Got fertilizer out of Rock Island back to Missouri then ran some rock today around town. Got back to the yard and as promised, hooked onto the new spread axle as assigned to me. Pretty excited to drag it around next week and try it out and not hafta worry so much about constantly being over on my trailer as I was with the closed tandem.blade Thanks this.

We’ll catch up eventually but I promise you’d rather be at home with your babygurl than killing time with me going to Brooklyn!! As long as the put a lift axle switch in the cab you’ll love that spread!! I only worry about my drives and gross!! As for the rest of you hope you all have a great weekendmotocross25 Thanks this.

So who would be a good starter outfit if you wanted to get into end dumping? I’ve heard of CDJ but idk if they would even consider me with just over a year of exp. I’ve got all my endorsements (didn’t know if any of them hauled hazmat or D/T). Also is it pretty decent money?
motocross25 Thanks this. -
Woody Bogler in Gerald MO I’ve heard good things about. One of our guys used to be a trainer there and he said they really do take their time with people new to end dumping and train them right. With over a year experience you know how to drive a truck, they’d just have you follow someone for a week or 2 to get the dumping down.

Awesome stuff! Any idea how their pay is?
