Rand Mcannally ELD 50 out of hours after 8 drive?

thats what i was thinking, 30 minute break didnt get taken. my stupid elog did that.

 

Looks like ELD didn't give him credit for 30min break or else driver short changed himself/herself and only took 29 or less minutes. At 8:30 took one and then at little past 10:00. Maybe driver jumped the gun and went back to driving before 30 minutes or system screwed up.

Had something similar happen to me, jumped the gun by 30 seconds even though the clock only shows minutes.

That's why I still like editing my logs to the nearest :15 minute intervals like we did on paper.

After wasting a half hour with tech support, to find the problem, it was fixed by moving my start time a minute later and making my PTI 2 minutes shorter.

Also, an old hand told me inspectors like seeing you up and eating breakfast before leaving. So if you've got over 10 hours on Line 2 you should put :30 minutes before your PTI on Line 1. It also gives you another data point to edit.
