Yep. I really want to leave CA but its so hard to pull the trigger on that. I could pay cash for a really nice place in the NW or TX and also make more money. But I can't do it. I feel like "they" will win if I leave CA. And I don't even know who "they" are, just feels like I'm fighting something. Just the vibe down here in LA is so toxic.

We don't want you to leave Cali either.

I’m on way out at the end of the year. I don’t know who “they” are but I’m relocating to the PNW. They may win but I’ll be in a honest mans home with my yard and workshop that I’ll never be able to afford here. -
Try the north end of the state, anything above Sacto. It's a whole different place.

It's a little like plankton fighting a whale, you'll just get swallowed up!
Get away, get happy. Who cares if "they" win? Especially when you don't even know who "they" are. -
I know what you mean brother, this is home i doubled down when I bought my house last year. I'm blessed to get out of fuel and into another high paying gig, we will see how it goes. Once the wife is working we should be more than fine.

Let’s say I were to go off duty at each of my deliveries, in order to save my 70 hour clock. I usually show on duty for about 1 minute just so I can pencil in where I unloaded and then the rest of the time I go off duty.
With 3 loads per day, anyone that looks at my logs would see 3 different rest breaks.
What do you think the DOT or a trooper would say if they inspected my logs?
