1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Can you give me a link to the website that you got this off of? I couldn't find one.

I can tell you what I did find. The government info on this company seems a little suspicious to me. Click on this link...

    http://safersys.org/query.asp?searc...original_query_string=TAILWINDS TRANSPORT LLC

The phone number with the 407 area code matches the number that you provided, so this must be the same company. I think it's odd that Adam H******* (ASH?) is listed as the legal name, but only as a registrant not as a carrier. There is no MC number listed, so does Tailwinds have MC authority? There is a lot of missing information that a legitimate carrier must provide in order to operate.

    Something doesn't seem right here.

    Doing a little more digging...

This was a post of yours back in 07--

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...ther-great-white-north-canada.html#post146928

So your name is Adam and the owner of Tailwinds is also named Adam. Is this a coincidence? You seem to be trying to present yourself as an uninterested party just hearing about this job opening and passing the info on as a kind gesture. Are you the owner of this company? If so, why are you being evasive about who you are? If you are an owner looking for a driver, just say so. Now you seem like you are hiding something.

This post was responded to in like fashion on another board, so I wanted to chime in here. I clicked on the link that was provided....what's the problem? Tailwinds has a flawless DOT record.....better watch out!?:biggrin_25519: Seriously sorry if something looked "fishy", we don't haul fish, just produce! :biggrin_25517: As for my posting style being informal, my apologies. We are seeking a qualified driver, as one of our drivers has decided to hang it up. I didn't feel that an internet posting was the place for full disclosure of ALL company structure, etc for all the net-world to see. As you can see, people will not hesitate to post names, etc, that can be dangerous in this crazy world. If someone is interested, call, if not, lighten up francis'! Please do "look before you leap" ! I appreciate guys looking out for eachother, but for crying out loud.....tough crowd!
