Any drivers on the forum work for any Raleigh area foodservice companies? I start truck driving school in August and will finish at the end of the year. I' going to JCC weekend only. Looking to hopefully get on with Sysco or Mclane. They have openings at the moment. Thanks.

Try Gordon Food Service. We have a DC and yards in NC and take drivers with no experience.

Starting off in FS as a delivery driver isn't a good idea. Fast paced with lots of difficult deliveries. Did I mention trying to figure out how your trailer was actually loaded? Never mind the load plan. Huge turnover for a reason. Look elsewhere. Better yet, become a professional shill - no experience necessary. Don't even have to know what you're talking about - trucking is slam packed with them.
