The problem with sleep patterns is that if you are disrupted just one day it can take you 2-3 more to recover. You can get 8 and still feel puchdrunk. Out on the interstate you can get by with some of this, but doing locals all day will wear you down.

I hate to spoil your diet, but that's half a pizza, not two slices....

You haven't seen the right one than. Spent 6 months suffering from chest pains and shortness of breath when I slept. 2 doctors , a general practioner and the heart specialist he sent me too never caught the rib out on the X-rays.

Went to a party and was telling a friend about my pain and that I just got done wearing a heart monitor from the specialist

A Guy over hears me talking and says you have a rib out. . Go to my chiropractor. Went the next day. Showed him my X-rays and he pointed out the obvious rib out.

He pushed it back in 3 times a day the first week because it built up so much cartilage it wouldn't stay in. After 3 weeks I was like new.

He asked if I had any other problems. Yep sciatica in my left leg and terrible carpo tunnel. He worked on me another week.

Best I had felt in 10 years. Back than I was 35. Been living with siatica for 20 years thinking it was just left over pain from a bad snow ski accident.

Nope pinched nerves in my back and neck.

I had migraines for years until I went to a chiropractor for some back and shoulder pain from driving(left arm and shoulder) and told him about an insane migraine I was having due to skipping my morning caffeine. Dude fixed my back and shoulder and turned out that some neck issues with a pinched nerve were causing the migraines I’d had for years. 4 months migraine free. I’m a believer.

I let one try and fix my back for 3 months. Some weeks I couldn't even walk to the car after his "treatment". Finally a neurosurgeon went in and fixed the two disks in my back. Parts of the disk had ripped and were embedded in my sciatic nerve. 100 manipulations wouldn't have fixed this. They don't know anything about internal medicine and they are not doctors. He did return all my money.

Many a poor doctor and chiropractor out there. Mechanics don't have the market cornered .

This guy went to Palmer. Supposed to be the best. In some cases what they do works, but they don't know their limitations.

One of my earliest memories of trucking, back before 09/11/2001, I was working at Swift. I was "given" a load that picked up in Phoenix. I was just coming off of home time. Pick up said early morning. I had just had a full nights rest in anticipation of going back to work. I show up 0500 sharp for pick up. The delivery was scheduled for 0800 the next morning in the L.A. area. An easy run. I sat at the shipper all day long and into the late afternoon. By the time the load was ready, I was exhausted. I got it down the road as far as I could and then called my dispatch and told them there wasn't any way I could drive any further. I got a service failure, I got yelled at, I got punished with dispatch miles for a week. This business does not care at all about anything but OTD, and that's a fact. By the way, back then I didn't drink caffeine at all because it made me feel like I was on methamphetamine and it would give me hard core flash backs of paranoia and nervousness. Now caffeine is my best buddy..I'm looking at you 5 hour energy.

I used to hate coffee and I despise being slapped in the face. Ironically, they both are all too common in my life when I'm not on 11.
