it isnt bad at 300 because i said it was for a quarter, its actually closer or slightly over an 1/8th, i was just checking their website to make sure i was getting numbers correct. $7 a pound of ground beef, $7.50 a pound and theyll make you 4 burger patties. They'll sell 1/4 at roughly 110 pounds. I can message you the website if you want to see it.
Grassfed beef is the best out there. We buy our milk raw via grassfed cows. Its the best tasting creamiest milk in the world. I gotta draw the line somewhere though on cost too much... and thats at this farms beef prices.
Can you convert a new trailer with duals to super singles?

when your dealt a silver spoon, it seems everybody is trying to hold you back. Even if the average working man is just getting by, hes a threat to your bottom line. at least thats what im gathering.

If you get paid by the hundred weight then super singles make a Lot of difference... To the tune of an additional 1600 pounds (400 pounds per axle) of product that you can load if both truck and trailer are set up with supers. The company I drive for hauls ALOT of bulk potatoes... And they pay by the hundred weight, so the whole fleet is outfitted with super singles.

You keep your burger and I'll stick with some nice steaks. I've never had milk from grasses cows but I've had goat milk and that was good stuff.
-
It seems like.

goats milk is said to be more nutrious to humans and our bodies handle it better. i was lactose intollerant as a kid and grew up on goats milk. i occasionaly drink it as a treat but again, its got a higher price tag than cow milk. cow milk raw goes for 5 bucks a gallon here, goats milk is 550-6 bucks a half gallon down the road from me. the above referenced farmer is selling 1 pound delmonico steaks for 19.00. good bad? i dont know. i know the ground is expensive, but the steaks i dont know. some people will sell their house for a good steak.Last edited: Jun 15, 2018

we run permits and load the tanks to max capacity, duals or super singles wont help us there. id rather have duals though, you get into some of these farms, having 4 tires on the ground an axle is better than 2. i dont get paid by the 100 weight, the farmer gets paid by that.

yeah i've seen super singles on some trailers there not very popular and now that you mention it that makes alot of sense as well: got nothing to hold it up if you blow a tire, maybe they think their saving money having 1 tire instead of 2?
-
Only takes blowing one in the middle of nowhere and having to have a service truck come 50 miles to put one on. If I was putting a tire on for you on the side of the interstate it's going to cost a couple hundred more than if you were in a rest area or somewhere other than the shoulder, we've all seen the pricks without enough sense to get over for the breakdown on the shoulder.

Are you really comparing a spike in fuel prices to the great depression?Last edited: Jun 15, 2018
