One christmas eve in the 90's a person dropped a coin at the tolls near state line with Delaware. The resulting three to four lane backups with cars northbound stopping dead to wait followed me clear to Richmond before it finally cleared enough late that night as I rolled south.
It was memorable to consider someone fumbling a coin into a chute to miss it, then get out would snarl a good part of the East Coast traffic for the next oh... 7 hours.IluvCATS and Mackthetruck Thank this. -
I went to Florida after Christmas but before new years came from ohio figured the traffic all would be headed north and I was very wrong lol ... was good to Charlotte and then was really heavy to 95 ..... then it was like a parking lot all the way down ... I ended up taking a split sleeper at south of the border and drive at night .. wasn't as heavy of traffic but a lot of aholes on the roads
IluvCATS Thanks this. -
How did you end up at south of the boarder coming in from Charlotte?
