O/O will start to get own loads

I leased my truck to a carrier. Not getting the best % but I have the freedom to work and book my own freight using their Trailer. Currently I have grossed 74k this Qtr . Want my own authority but not sure if I would be better off. So currently running this way and still crunching number as if I had my own authority to see the difference. So far not much , but in fairness still new at this

 

It all depends on each driver but here is an example of one of my reefer owner ops he started work on Thursday afternoon in the Chicagoland area. We booked him from Munster IN pu at 10PM to deliver 2 drops in Milwaukee for $1000 (Dry Load, 198 miles with deadhead included) He was done with this load Friday afternoon and we booked him a load from Green Bay WI to Conklin NY , Nazareth PA, and 3 drops next to each other in NJ a total of 5 drops (1250 total miles with deadhead to Green Bay, $5000 rate, Refrigerated load) He finished this load on Tuesday afternoon and he wanted a break so we booked him a load picking up Wednesday morning in Elizabeth NJ to Bolingbrook IL ($1600 rate, refrigerated, 806 total miles) for Delivery Thursday morning he also deadheaded 40 miles in NJ to pick up a partial delivering Thursday morning for $500 which brings his Gross revenue from Thursday 10PM to Thursday morning to $8,100 not to mention we got him $100 detention at one of the stops in NJ so a total of $8,200. After he delivers tomorrow we will probably send him somewhere short for another $1000 and load him up again for delivery Monday.
