    AND I suppose the traffic school will costs money too? How many times have we been told that there are no quotas on tickets to be written yada yada yada.....yeah right.

    Well, at least they are not lying by saying they are doing this in the name of safety, like everyone else is doing. This is the closest they came, and this is a true statement: "possibly deter dangerous driving", for the higher fines may slow some down.
