I like cats better than dogs, because cats don't kill people.

Sheer numbers. There are literally thousands of pit bulls for every bullmastiff. Are freightliners more dangerous than peterbilts because there are more of them involved in accidents?

What you need to get a clear view is a study done comparing the number of animals power attack.

Personally i don't understand the popularity of pits. But not because i think they are dangerous, because i think there are far better breeds. Our presa canario was the most loyal and protective animal I've ever seen in my life. in fact he may have been to protective.

Do you have any hard numbers to back up the claim there are more labs?

Interesting tidbit. labs have the biggest number of attacks on humans requiring medical attention.

Every pitbull that I ever known of was a nut one way or another. It wouldn't take them much to get aggressive.
One in particular bit my friend's face.

Last time i heard anyone breeding labs and golden retrievers for dog fighting, they were laughed out of the ring. The human strikes again in my opinion. We breed the pit to fight, so 10 20 30 40 years of off spring, we still have killer instincts in the breed. In this day, technology makes it a lot easier to read stories where as 10 20 years ago, we had half the horrible news making it to our homes.

My nieghbor has a full pit, i f'n love his dog. My two kids play with him daily, i play with him when i can. Do i trust him 100%? Maybe about 90%, but i also dont trust my cat, that she wont draw blood on my kids for no reason.

My inlaws have a couple ankle biters, the jack russel they have in particular was raised for 100 of years to kill, hes an ok dog, but he'll still show teeth if hes annoyed. #### dog wieghs like 15 pounds, but he still has it in him to show his teeth to a 180 pound human.

This makes sense. Dead humans don't need any medical attention

So, you're telling me, if you have a newborn child, and you have to choose between having a golden retriever or an american pit bull terrier in the home, you're going to bring in a pit? They've imprisoned people for less.
