Tablet?

 

Holland is not using anything other than Omnitracs hardware for HOS. They just connected Omintracs messaging interface to Transflo App is all.

 

The intelligent vehicle gateway is what I'm talking about. I just call it a tablet

An update got pushed to it changing some settings and the hos interface

 

Well it's not a tablet..call it what you want but don't expect anybody else to know what you're talking about..

The update is annoying..

I don't see it on the Android Transflo App.

 

You'll need to call the guy you report to [to get all your paperwork current] when you first come in off the road from a long tour (forget his name) and he can walk you through making the change. The app has to have some minor reconfiguration with the carrier ID that's used.

Didn't have to do anything to get it to work really.
Change recipient to this new one.
Delete old recipient.
Just make sure the email add. matches the one dispatch had one file.



I'm just curious when did they communicate this to us..
Communication is terrible.
If it wasn't for TTR, I wouldn't have known... Maybe they tell us when we are at the yard, I guess?
That's kinda crazy, I can't speak for anyone else. But I'm only at the yard every 3 to 4 months usually.

 

Wasn't really communicated. I was not aware of this until I went a few weeks to get my apportioned sticker and permit book updated, and it was brought up on the to-do list. If they had made such an announcement on a fleet message they would have been bombarded with driver phone-in questions asking "huh?"

Let me know if you figure out how to manage Available and Accepted Loads (delete once completed)

I've been through quarters where I was through the yard 4-6 times, and I've gone through quarters I was not in at all. Just depends how the flow is going and where you enter the stream.

I haven't completed any loads yet....
But I also can't seem to figure out how to delete old messages..
None of the obvious ways seem to work.
