Recent news of Trucker Shortages

There's enough incidents on the highways as it is what'll happen if they allow 18 years to drive OTR?

 

I love reading these falsehoods on 60-70k a year plus 4-10k bonus. For first year drivers. I bet they made all that loot working 8hr days 5 days a week.

 

My wife was NOT in Texas... (<<<< or...was she?!?!?!)

 

Can't be any worse than these 3rd world immigrants we let in who bought their licenses.

 

I've always wondered how they can say there is a driver shortage when 3000 to 4000 drivers a week graduate from trucking schools and orientations.

 

Could the real shortage be companies that do as they say, treat drivers with respect and not screw some drivers, burn us more than once and wonder why we walked away. There is more to life than 70 hrs work week, no benefits. and fairy tales to listen to.

 

Could be... glad I put my time with the mills in many moons ago, and drive for an O/O now.

 

fishing aint so bad, getting my health back in a good way, miss the road, no hurry to go back until they start getting serious about safety, all they have now it seems is ways to blow smoke you know where. I lost all patience for idiots.

 

When you get back on track, look for a gig like mine....hauling asphalt intrastate for an O/O. Wouldn't trade if for any other.

 

and I am in a heavy tourist area, not any big roads, wildlife all over, having the knowledge people really do remove brains sometimes, plus its one of those pot states. Lets park in the middle of the road for a picture while ma puts little junior on the back of a elk.
