And they won't be ready, no matter how long we wait. So why wait. When they are forced to change they will. Until then, they will do nothing.

    Wen782 and NukedNative Thank this.

Exactly right here. Some people won't do a thing until they have no choice.

    Wen782 Thanks this.

I do not have a converter box. I do not have a HD antenna.

Since we rarely watch any of the local channels, I guess I will worry about some other day.

It has been at least 3 years since I watched the local channels. We get CBS out of NY since it was not in our area. CBS is about all we have watched.

But we don't have ABC, FOX or NBC. They are in our local area and I will not pay to have them on the dish since I don't watch them.

I don't blame ya for not paying for something you don't watch.

The bad news is that if we tried to get the local channels, we lose the right to have the CBS feeds we have. We would then have to get the CBS that is serving our area and then have to deal with their desire to force sports down your throat. I have not missed them in the last 5 years.

Well, maybe if the government actually came to their door with a converter box, and offered to hook it up for them, for free. . .

Sounds like a plan to me. They really don't have anything worth watching anyway. It's been years since they have even had decent newscasts.
