Apparently I'm an idiot sometimes. 100 PSI shop air and I can only get the pushrod to go in 1/4". WTF? Oh #### I have the brake backed off so far I had to tighten the adjuster up to get the rod to go in.

Not bad for an hour or so of work. Got the left one on and adjusted just before the rain started.Oldironfan, Tug Toy, Feedman and 3 others Thank this. -
Took the right side slack off. Was shimmed a little bit looser than the left. #### OCD!
Installed the support clamps on the brake chamber end of the cam tubes and painted a few brackets. Just needs the dust shields installed and a few more bolts installed in the front hangers to complete the axle install. Just going to keep picking away at the little things like that for the rest of the week.W900AOwner and Feedman Thank this. -

Working away putting all the missing hardware into the frame. Originally just put everything together loose with a couple bolts in each part to hold it all together.Last edited: Jul 5, 2018

Kind of at a bit of a stumbling block with the front end. Debating if it'd be worth swapping in a used 12k lb axle with brakes and 10 stud hub pilots. Or if I'd be better off changing hubs and adding brakes to my current axle?
Tug Toy Thanks this. -
If not, keep it.Tug Toy Thanks this. -

Or at all?
Seems like that should be a fairly standard type of part.
