Where can I find current Schneider drivers to talk to?

I'd probably worry more about who's offering the better job rather than who has the better training.

 

See..that is the problem...folks don't want proper training and this is why we have the problems in this business

 

That's the thing. SNI offer a dedicated or regional. Swift offer a regional or dedicated. Just different color trucks, company culture, etc. A friend of mine works for Swift and he told me he went with whoever would hire him so it was Swift and 6-8 months in.. he says his glad he went with Swift. I used his truck number on my application.

 

Schneider is heavy into indoctrinating you into the Orange culture.
The Schneider way is the only safe and correct way if your not doing it our way it's wrong and or not safe.

 

He did say that he hasn't driven since 2015, so I took that to mean he does have some experience rather than being a newbie. If he already has some experience, then the training shouldn't be his priority.

 

Dedicated accounts can differ greatly from one another. What are looking for most? Maximize earning? More steady home time? Something a little more predictable? Figure that out and find the job that best offers you that.

 

It was only 1 month at a trucking school.

 

personally, I'd go back to the same school and get a refresher for about $500, and then find the company that offered the best sign on bonus

 

Thank you Opus. I ended up not going Swift. Had to cancel because I have to have a root canal done and they gave me attitude. SNI were completely understanding. Told me all I need to know.
