I can do a complete inframe for less than what you'll pay for a "one box" if yours takes a dump. And avg 7.0-7.2 across the board. Late 80s to early 2000s was the best generation of trucks ever produced

Just got a brand new DPF. Was like $2200 out the door using Cummins parts. So lemme know when you get that in frame together for that much. You can average 7 with an empty trailer perhaps, lemme know how much that pays your daddy as well.

I take it you don't turn wrenches. If you fix it right and don't let stuff go that needs attention you will less down time than any new plastic trash heap.

Will Casper hit the 1m mark w/o touching the engine. The 1993 did a million with everything untouched besides a set of injectors at 875k and a cac.

    Your gonna call me a liar but a 9670 coe with a 315 did a lifetime 6.5 avg with a 9 direct and 3.55s

One box the whole unit is upwards of 7-9k not just the dpf.

If you had "old iron" 2200 would get you pistons liners rods and mains.

I don't need the one box.

Ever listen to any Tom Petty kid?

There is a song called "Even The Losers".

Part of the lyrics go--- " God it's such a drag when your livin' in the past...…………"

My '09 Cascadia with a DD15 did 985,000 without touching the engine or turbo.....traded it, so I don't know after that

Here. I'll turn back the clock for something worthwhile.

    Crank it.

Give it up man. With some people they are convinced a truck that isn't almost new will drink fuel like its going out of style and break down every other day.

You could show them pictures of the invoice on an inframe kit from detroit and they will claim you photo shopped it cause no way can it only be 2200 bucks. Same thing for ecm data print outs. In their mind it simply isn't possible for an older truck to get decent fuel mileage.
