Where are they out of? No news can usually be considered good news.

They are out of Knoxville, TN. They are owner operator and lease purchase only. They do have a few company drivers but not many. I think they are about 360 trucks or so and they pay percentage and fuel surcharge. I have a buddy that drives for them and he loves it. He's been running 3000 miles a week even with frieght the way it is. I tried getting on with them and they wouldn't hire me because of a ticket I had 3 yrs ago, which tells me they are very picky. I haven't heard one bad word about them and I am going to try to get on with them again after I have some more experience. I would check them out and get the fine print on the lease. Its not for everyone but as long as they have miles its a good deal.

    firecaptain1204 Thanks this.

I am going to work for Colonial Freight lines on Monday. I've never heard any thing bad about them. I know they are a smaller company and you have to lease a truck from them. Anyone with any information about the company or the current situation with miles they offer would be appreciated.

The guys i talk to in St louis,MO told me its very bad and run away...No money,no freight...

They used to load were i loaded all the time....That was 3 months back when i seen them every week....

So do some more homework..Tell them you wanna talk to the drivers before you make the leap....The drivers will give you the ''real'' scoop
