Why havent you went over there living so close and all. They do the hiring for NEW ALBANY , MS HVDC ... just fyi..

 

Here's how to get in take these steps you WILL get in .... 100%

1. Go (in person to D,C. and request an application from the TRANSPORTATION DEPT.
2. Ask to speak with an OPPS manager
3. Tell them you are interested in HVDC in NEW ALBANY and you will DRIVE A NIGHT.
4. Take application home fill out .. Leave no blanks if the question does not apply put N/A on everything NO BLANKS for any field eriod .. NOTHING... I know its dumb but one blank your application is canned PUT N/A even in fields like FELONY, on ACCIDENTS there are several blanks N/A them all not just one it will seem like you have 100 N/A's but trust me they want that ...
5. Tear the application appart and go to a WALMART and get a 3 ring binder and some page protectore about 25 or so ..
6. Put the application in the front each sheet in its own page protector
7. Make sure you sign it but DONT DATE IT ... (see latter)
8. Make copies of all driving awards, military stuff etc .. anything to draw attention to your self put in page protectors behind application
9. Make a nice cover page on front with picture of a WALMART TRUCK and the WALMART LOGO you can google these and copy them and print.
10. Copy of MVR
11. Copy of Drivers LIC

Hand deliver this to the same OPPS Manager you met when you got the application the first time... Make eye contact...
Ask whom the GTM is and get the D.C. mailing address.. get the Opps managers name also. and D.C. phone number to TRANSPORTATION not the GENERAL #

signing the application

There are 2 applications in the packet

• Walmart stores inc
• Transportation addenduem

Each have a signature page fill them out all the way and make a copy of the last page before you sign it. REASON is each ninty days you must fill out another application it can be a copy but the signature page must be ink not copy (sig line only and recent date) this saves you having to fill it all out again. (if it take that long)...
Make copies of both entire applications one is fine (1copy of each ) be sure the copy is not signed or dated if you mess up just white it out..


Follow up letters
3 days after send a letter to the D.C. to the GTM and the OPPS manager that you met stating you are still intrested and thanking them for the time they spent etc blah, blah, blah,

send them again at

1. 1 week
2. 2 weeks
3. etc etc

and call 1 time a week talk to the GTM ... Leave a Message and your contact info ... etc

Reason for all the N/A's the directions say this it is a test to see if you follow directions and they like persistancy calling every week letters etc I know it sounds dumb but thats what they are looking for..

It is the truth and I am NO RECRUITER I am a DRIVER just like you whom made the switch from WALMART to SUPERIOR company driver to company driver.

I have days I wished WALMART would not have done what they did to me. Giving me an ultimatum like that but I can HONESTLY say ....

I feel lots less stress here at SUPERIOR for WALMART has you under the gun constantly and the [ay really is a wash when you consider APPLES TO APPLES and include BENEFITS etc..

You can GOOGLE either company and see what I have said is the total truth...

Now Superior is a small outfit and thats what I like more about them then WALLEY but both are OUTSTANDING to drive for cant go wrong either way.
