If you have an offer, stick with Swift. They are as good as any, and better then some. Werner here in Omaha has trainees stacked up in a holding pattern at the hotels in the area, waiting for trucks. They also have laid off 1,000 or so drivers within the last couple months. SO, Big Blue is not a good choice right now.

No one , especially a woman should contract themselves to the indentured servitude of a training carrier . You have little option if you aren't getting sufficient miles . Leave before the contracted term and you'll owe them a few thousand dollars . Do you want your wife to have that financial obligation if she is terminated due to an accident or is unable to work due to illness or injury ? Her security means nothing to them . The CDL mills turn out fresh meat on a regular basis .luvtheroad Thanks this.

that i dont doubt, i read that they have sold off like 650 trucks so far and may be selling up to 150 more so... weener is out of the question i would say

I heard and of course CL Werner didnt call and tell me this. LOL They have taken over 500 off the road for now, till freight picks up. But who knows.
