So instead of one truck running a red light, four will run it!

The people who should really be concerned with being replaced are women. The way they're perfecting those sex-bots, there won't be a need. That is unless you want to talk to her or have kids.

It was 68 F when I woke up, 85 F at lunch, forecast to be 95 before sundown. It'll be 200 F in a day or two.

It's because we breath co2 causing all that darn global warming.
    Somebody needs to fix that.

I tried but it caused an increase in methane production, I figured that's be worse so I started breathing again.

Nice discussion. Me, I'll quit for good and turn in my license before I team, which I don't see becoming mandatory, in an economic sense, for at least 20 years. Robot trucks will be way too expensive for all but the biggest of the biggies. And those companies are just drops in the very large freight bucket. So, no, that beer load that was run in October 2016 from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs via Denver on I-25 using a completely robot truck shouldn't scare us. It doesn't scare me. Well, it scares me from a road-sharing point of view. But I'm not worried about being forced into a cab with another driver by the likes of SNI, Swift, JB, etc.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
