Sorry, but the states should not be allowed to set higher emission standards than the federal government. California has already done serious damage to the trucking industry for their state with the CARB stuff. California needs to stop trying to regulate for the rest of the country.

The way California is going, they are going to put themselves out of buisness, because drivers won't want to go there due to all the CARB rules they are enacting.

Didn't we warn you Obamaites what was going to happen?

I hope you libs are happy with your choice.
You all better not complain when you have to pay a few cents more for your Cigs and Kool-aid because we'll have to go a minimum of $3/m to offset the cost of buying new rigs thanks to your selfish and blind regulations that could have waited until the price of the technology could come down.

Again...Thanks to all of the libs who just screwed America once again...:biggrin_25510:

I can see a day when California in it's own arrogance, cripples it's own farmers. I don't see how the California farming community can face the continued onslaught of reg after reg, and remain profitable without subsidies.

I know you posted this jokingly, but right now in Oklahoma, the EPA flys over the states dairy herds and monitors the Cattle farts (methane emmisions), and actually fines the dairies if the emissions are too high.

WE need a ban on the EPA, CARB, ACORN, and all these other groups and pseudo-government agencies that are trying to dictate every aspect of our lives. Enough with the government and it's cronies trying to run our lives for us!

That bit about Oklahoma, that's just wrong. How much 'greenhouse gasses' are they putting into the atmosphere doing their fly overs?

    ric1jud and truckermario Thank this.

A CA judge has done so by placing the importance over a fish, the Delta Smelt, over the needs of farmers and California's public. BTW, that same judge ruled that pumping throughout the aqueduct system is to be done at night and reduced pumping 50%. I know this because I delivered parts to a pumping station and got a tour....impressive.
