A moderater has to approve my post???

Is every post containing a link being "Mod-approved" before posting?

Or just some of them?

It's beginning to feel that way LOL

 

Seems to only happen to me when I post in the Politics Forum. I could be wrong though it blips on the screen so fast, it may happen to all my new threads.

 

Its happened to me posting in the pet forum....no big deal.

 

Not really a big deal here either. As they get posted rather quickly, afterwards.

I was wondering what was going on though. As it seems to be happening with more frequency as of late.

 

There are numerous reasons as to why a post goes to moderation.

It's not that we have made it to catch your posts...lol

It just happens.

It's something that we have to deal with.

 

Yea, it's no big deal. We have to do something to stop spammers and it is FAR easier to approve a few posts than go through so much stuff people can't even imagine.

 

Understand the filters being tightened up.

New Years Eve was a bad night for spam I noticed. Might have been Christmas. I can't remember now.

 

Posted tonight and got this message:

Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting.

Was I being evil again or is this something new?
