Premier was a crash course .. they run a full 100 contact hours in ten days, and then you hit the road for "phases" .. you HAVE to go back to your home state for hard copy, and if you have 30 days before that expires, count on 28.5 days of scheduled runs for CR England.. the pay was next to nothing, and when you QUIT ( not IF ,but when) they have you on the hook for slightly pro-rated tuition, and immediate payment plan.. I left, and got on with a small carrier, I have to get rid of an E restriction, because the course is ONLY offered with autoshift Freightliner Cascadias.
Do all mega carrier trainers suck?

I grew up in rural Maine and didn't even know interstates had more than 2 lanes wide. Boy I had an awakening when I signed up with Werner after getting my CDL many years ago.
I had two trainers.
First one flipped out at me when I took the alternate interstate exit instead of the real one in Chicago. Serious anger issues. I learned nothing.
Second trainer was disgusting. He loved mountain dew. While he was driving he always asked me to get him a new one from the back. I never understood why since there was like 25 of them half full under the cubby but he said they lost their fizz. I didn't realize those were piss until like a month later. Seriously made me ill when I found out.Tropsnart, Dave_in_AZ and Lab work Thank this. -
