Fantasy? Give your head a shake. I ran from my home in Thunder Bay to midwest US, unload and reload to Toronto On and swap trailers for a load home. I trucked like this for 3 years along with most of our fleet out of here. This is how a company retains drivers.
Be a cold day in hell before I would do a reset away from home.

Of course there are, but if you suspect that you didn't get a job because of it, they're in trouble.

I hauled newsprint and we kept most of the midwest supplied. Every week and no problem ever getting loads to Toronto where loads were waiting for us to haul home. Its called "doing a loop"

It’s not always about the money. I could go work someplace else and make more money so it appears I don’t know my worth.

Wrong I'm home 95% of the time for my reset with an average of 3100 miles per week if that's not happening for you then you're working for the wrong company!

    buddyd157, magoo68 and Jazz1 Thank this.

I don't know how you guys can do just a 34 at home. I feel like I barely have enough time to get things done around the house when I'm home weekly for 2/3 full days.
