House rejects digital TV delay; February switchover still stands

You know lets really think about this the 6.5 million (that's the figure from Obama) who don't have a converter will be the same group who doesn't have one in June. Either they waited to late to get a coupon or thought the government would bail them out. Guess they're wrong this time.

 

This all the more reason to ax the 6.5 mil from the so-called stimulus. The conversion is going through. Whoever wants to watch tv will find a way to get the converter or new tv.

 

I just upped my stock in Comcast cable!


You might as well have a satellite or cable. You do not have to worry about the stupid crap and you get more and better programs.

I say let em do without. I think it is a bit funny in fact. maybe we will see more traffic on the CB!

 

The government sold those radio frequencies to private companies for a little over $20 billion. What gives them the right to hang on to them? I mean I wouldn't like it if I bought a house and a week before I was ready to move in and I get this call from the house's previous owner," You know what? It's just too painful and confusing for me to move out this week, I think I'm going to stay here for the next 6 months."

The government took the money. It's not their's any more.
