driving with felony

As for the guy who has a felony and wants to go to truck driving school you may want to wait a while and get on with one of those private schools that where i went and still can't find a good job can't find a job anywhere even the ones that used to hire felons don't do it anymore but thats all good I will do this one way or the other even if i need to buy my own truck and do it that way LMAO Anyway if thats what you want to do then do the research and find one locally where you live at and do it that way

 

Case is closed, nothing pending. It shows ajudicated guilty and disposition says extradited even though I never was extradited, I just had to pay some money and they let me go.

 

Don't believe what these friggin' schools tell you. All they want is money. They want you to recruit friends for them. They don't care if you ever work one day in this industry, as long as they get the money for training you.

 

I have a drug felony and I also have a driving job w/hazmat endorsement. Wasn't easy to get one and was turned down by a lot of companies before getting hired. Course this was just before the economy tanked so it will be lots harder now that the companies can cherry pick their hires.

 

Be careful of Prime. They said they were going to hire me so quit my job, put all my stuff in storage, got rid of the apartment and on the Friday before I was supposed to catch a bus, they called me up and said "oh we're sorry, but we don't have enough trainers". Only response I got from Benjamin Wick when I explained about quitting and everything was "guess you better go get Your job back then".
I ended up going back to school to get refresher training then got hired by Transam. Think they only want L/Os at the moment and You'll really go broke if you go that route.

well hello pjody459. we are on 2 sites now lmao. yeah i have a 8 year old felony for battery. the only place im starting to have luck with is Western Express. yeah i heard all the stuff on them . but in the end all i want is a job. as long as i make enuff money to pay the bills and have some miles to get exp. what do i care. alot of companys say they go back 5 to 7 year's but truth be known they go back as far as they can. and if they see something they don't like. they give you a BS reason for not hireing you. so there are place's to go to. its just having to wait for it that suck's. alot of companys told me once my felony get 10 on it. to call them back. also alot of them told me if i can get 6 months to year to also call them back. but the way i see it they had there chance. so if i get on western that will be my home. i also thought about after and if i get on there. staying there for a long while to get enuff money to start buying my own truck's and trailers and calling my company FELONY TRANSPORT lmao. i won't hire anyone that doesn't have a record lmao. i don't look at my felony as it holds me back. even tho it does. i look at it as something that i can prove to anyone else. if i can do it anyone can

 

Yes we are on two sites now and I was going to wait until tomorrow and let you all know that I got on with Carolina Cargo and leave on the 7th of Feb. I know it won't pay all that much, But i want the exp it will give me to learn and all that so wish me luck and i will keep you informed of whats going on and how I am doing as for you shaw thank you for all your input and we will both show all these people that we may be felons but we are part of the human race and we also have families that need to be fed and bills that need to be paid
