I just checked out that web site, and from what I read and their terms of service,,

I really wouldn't work through them!

It's better to find your own brokers. That's all they do is set you up with other brokers.
If you decide on a broker load , you won't get a percentage deducted from the broker but you must pay 25 dollars for each broker load you accept. So it's Not Free.

And on top of that, this site states, they are not held responsible for any financial problems that arise's from these brokers. Like not getting paid.

There are too many cheap crooked brokers out there to watch out for. So you won't know what your getting yourself into.
Then you have to take the time to check out these brokers financial status. That's more time consuming.

I swear, truck drivers are the only breed i no that seems to want to be a ''business man'' but do it half a.z.z.e.d...lmao.Until you do that you are only a wanna be ''business man'' and an ''imposter'' like me..

Why do truckers always want the ''easier softer way''?If you wanna be a businessman then you are going to have to take the time and energy to ''do it all''...Not half a.z.z. it..

:yes2557:If your going to take the ''easy'' lazy way out just stay driving as a lease operator, wanna be businessman like me...:yes2557:lmao...IF NOT...

Get up off your duff and solicited your ''business''.I have friends that are in the business of plumbers, electricians, carpet installers, roofing, siding etc, etc, etc and they have to work extra hard at this DOOR TO DOOR and they have to get out there and make it happen..THEY DON'T HAVE MANY BROKERS....THEY HAVE TO WEAR 10 TITLES IN THERE BUSINESS...

Just because you own a ''truck'' don't make you a ''business man''..

NOW GET UP OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND AWAY FROM THAT #### COMPUTER AND GO DOOR TO DOOR TO THESE BUSINESSES IN YOUR AREA AND START TALKING WITH THEM..JUST LIKE ''BROKERS'' DO...

MORAL OF MY STORY::::CUT THE BROKER OUT!!!!!! AND STOP BEING LAZY LIKE ME!!!!!!LMFAO

That's RIGHT, TELL IT like it is !

Starting off, an owner operator may need to lease on with a company.. to start.

When he gets enough pennies saved, get themselves their own trailer.
Apply for Authority to be Your Own Carrier.

Then Get OUT and HUSSLE for Your Own Customers.!
    Then,
Dump these Companies! They're probably making twice as much as you are. Huh, president , CIO, VP, Human Resources,,, and down to the who ever cleans the toilets. They're all getting a lick out of your hard earn dollar. It's better to buy them a gal of ice cream.
It's better to work hard for yourself than , working hard to make the company richer

And if Every driver did that for himself..... watch this country turn around for the better.

Thank you guys...both of you. My opinion of the mention web site is quite similar to yours, just wanted to see if anyone actually worked with them and what were the experiences.
Btw...I own my truck for 5.5 years now and was always leased. Switched 4 companies within last 2 years - conclusion...they all suck...they are way overhiring o/ops just to satisfy their own bottom line and dont give a s... whether we can stay in business or not with such low miles they provide.

You are ready for the next step...Start talking to businesses, calling them, get a business card and start cutting the broker out...

In the end you are basically putting the ''broker'' hat on.And you can do this, because most brokers are morons anyway. If they can get customers so can you.F.....EM CUT THERE RATE LIKE THEY DO EVERY DAY..

Me i am tired of the whole rat race.22 years and tired...lmao...But you can go to the next step...Hell you been doing this for 6 years now.Your no dummy...You got what it takes...call around and give some quotes

I don't see how to get around a broker. You can make a million calls and find a local company that needs stuff shipped out. So fine, now you're their "guy". So you go pick up a load and drive it 2 thousand miles away. Now what? Dead head home and pick up the next load to somewhere else?

All you could really get is local stuff where they ship produce or something to all the local stores. Even then it would be a logical nightmare probably best done with drybox vans etc...

OK now, here's my story... got my LLC, next time i come home in about 2 weeks going to DMV to put together all the paperwork for authority and am shopping for my own reefer. This is now where I would appreciate help if you are enough knowledgable and willing to tell... the names of a few QUALITY and trusted brokers in order to pull average to better payed freight. Any ideas?
    Grateful in advance.

The thing is I have no clue of some realistic rates and have never had anybody to teach me how to negotiate them with the shippers. And btw...do I need to have a broker athority in order to be able to do that?
