Does anyone know what is the highest your BMI can be at before the doctor sends you for a sleep apnea test while trying to get your medical card?
Thank you.

But you can’t post a link showing that that’s a rule because the sleep apnea scam is such a grey area.
There’s no rules or laws about sleep apnea yet a doctor can deny or give out a 90 day med card because they feel the driver may have the apnea and make them get tested.
But then once you’re diagnosed with the apnea and they demand to see CPAP machine usage you can never get off the CPAP machine no matter how much weight you lose or surgeries you have.Aamcotrans, cybill234, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this. -

It's stupid yes. But it's crammed in our face as well.

I used to work with a guy who played amateur football. He was a full back. Can you believe they tried to tell him he was overweight? He was in fantastic shape. Lotsa muscle.
This medical industry is so full of it. Only thing they do is make sure they make money. If money ain't in it for them. It don't exist to them. Go ahead and die.Ryan423 Thanks this. -
And that's why BMI is a load of crap, it doesn't take body type into consideration. Two guys both 5'9" 250lbs, one a body builder with 4% body fat the other just plan big stomach fat. they are both considered obese according to BMI.Brettj3876 and Bean Jr. Thank this.
