I wish people would see that especially in bad weather it is way better to be safely tucked in behind a truck than driving with a death grip on the wheel to get ahead and ride on the front bumper of 100000lbs that takes a long way to stop
-
That's why I stay behind but at a safe distance and in the mirrors at all times

Those are very good questions,,to answer the first one,,Idiot #2 obviously was not watching traffic before coming out in front of you,,Yes if you are the only vehicle coming up then he or she should have waited another 10 seconds to let you get by before they they come out in the left lane to pass trk #1,But hey we have a new breed of drivers out there today,,it ain't like it was 15 yrs ago i will grant you that,,
Now on to question # 2 = Some drivers don't deserve a CDL ecause they have no common sense,,this we are seeing more and more of in the last few yrs..Clearly a passing truck should observe the same slower traffic keep right signs when faster traffic is traveling on the same road.
Question # 3 = The common method,,of Killing head lamps for a few seconds dropping to running lamps is the best method as our eyes may already be strained from being awake and driving for 28 hrs already and those high beams poke me in the eye and it takes me a few minutes to get my vision back,,,,Just be courteous and a professional driver should be just as courteous towards everybody else,,However i would not bank on the fact that the next trk dvr you encounter will be a professional,,,more likely a professional idiot depending on who he or she is and how long thay have been driving a truck professionally. -
please, no brights

You have no business being on the road if you have been driving for 28 hours...
Lilbit Thanks this. -
indeed notarps!! innnnnnnnnnndeed!!! 4 wheeler,no hi-beams ever please,PLEASE!I beg of you! lol Yes sometimes we are afraid to lane change because it can be a task to judge how far away something is when the back end of the trailer is around 65' behind us and we are looking in a mirror. If you look too close I'm not moving, thanks tho for signaling the all clear.I'm more worried about safety than delivering the load on time. It's great that 4 wheelers signal us like that.I love it and when you pass me I'll signal back to be nice.If you wanna say thanks a simple wave will suffice or the 4 ways or turn signal left right left right works too.I love the 4 wheelers that respect whet we do and who will interact like that. =]
