    I just finished school in nov 08 trying to find some one that is hiring newbies out of nc . flatbed dry van reefer it does not matter at this point . there is nothing on my record at all. any info would be helpful thanks.

    yeah transam said my work history bad but I have worked at the same place for 5 years until I got laidoff back in june of 08.and because I was drawing unemployment they would not hire me .I checked with usx they said call back in 2 weeks werner said yes but who knows how long you will have to wait for A trainer .so I am still looking .

    Let me clear up the unemployment I had been drawing it to long so there was A gap in my work history that is why they said it was bad.

    I'd jump on the Werner if you could. Maybe try a bunch of apps this week and check back on them, usually they'll decline you in a couple days, so you know quick if you follow up. If nothing, then jump on Werner. Getting the trainer is pretty much instant, it's getting a truck that's the problem. But it seems most of the guys that stick it out with the trainer are getting trucks within a couple weeks.
