That's ###### up ... although I have to admit, I hate when I have no choice but to stay at the T/A. Sometimes I have found a quiet side street without any "No Parking" signs posted, but I always wonder if I'll wake up in the morning. :biggrin_25523:

As it is I usually try and plan so that I am in and out of anything south of the 10 on the same day.

I am not even a trucker and that just ###### me off. I think that Miss Geller should do a ride along with a trucker for a few weeks.

absolutely!!! make the troopers have some skin in the game!!!! if those pricks want us to move, they can take it on their butts when accidents happen!!!! w/ my trip planning i usually am parking for the night around 1am, so if they want me to pick up and move after having driven 11hrs, that puts me in one serious HOS bind!!

add that to that nonsense law their trying to add about having your liscense suspended after a 2nd HOS offense... just aint right!!

if it werent for 95, 64 and 81, id say boycott the buggers and let em deal w/ truck free roads, lose all that wonderful fueltax income and let em suffer for adding to our burdens!!!

this is the state that wanted to charge it's residents four or five times more for traffic violations than it charged out of state offenders. aclu took care of that one, iirc.

someone should dig through the code and find a couple embarrassing blue laws that va police don't enforce if they want to pull the "hey i'm just doing my job" shtick.
