thank god i got outta there when i did!! the only probs i ever had was the:
1) guys in laredo tellin me how to secure a load of frame rails even tho i'd hauled em a doz times before w/o incidence,
2) 2 loads dispatched by masury outta bull moose, you would think if the customer required flatbeds that dispatch would tell ya to drop the stepdeck and get a flat
3) the wonderful 2007 KW t600 they gave me that only had 13k on it when i picked it up (loved the truck.. once i got the accident dmg from the previous driver replaced)
when my KW was hooked to a steel tandem flat, my empty weight was almost 26,000 and they would ALWAYS gimme crap when i had to shave a pallet or 2 of a load just to get into a semi-legal weight (nothin like runnin on 1/4tank all the time to keep legal weight)

my biggest bone to pick had to be laredo for loads, every carrier load i picked up always had some extra thing on there w/o paperwork for it and it was always on a sat night when there wouldnt b any office personnel there till monday morning when the load was sposed to deliver and get me home for my hometime and masury who always managed to leave out some critical detail bout a JIT

sorry to hear bout your face, when they were selling the rachet binders for $22, i bought up 16 for my own use, i hated the snap binders

 

Stay off of their regional routes also. They will d/h you everywhere and for a short return load. You can't make any $ if you are mt.
